These wishes represent the hopes and dreams of our residents for a safer, more sustainable, and supportive environment, where everyone has access to essential services and the opportunity to build a better future.

However, it’s important to note that these aspirations are closely tied to cooperation with the George Municipality. The success of these projects depends on their approval and support.
Together with local authorities and stakeholders, we hope to address key infrastructure needs, improve recreational spaces, and work toward securing legal land ownership for all.

Secure Land Tenure
for Residents:
We are working towards ensuring that all residents can either own the plot they live on or have access to a 99-year lease agreement, providing them with a stable and long-term foundation for their homes and families.
Legal Residency
for All Occupants:
We are committed to working with local authorities to regularize and legalize the residency of all community members, ensuring that everyone is recognized as a legitimate occupant of their home.
Access to
Basic Services for All:
A core part of our mission is advocating at the George Municipality for access to essential services for every resident. This includes ensuring reliable water and electricity connections, improved health services, efficient waste and refuse removal, and sufficient SAPS support for community safety. We also aim to improve access to proper toilet facilities, especially in areas where they are insufficient.
Arum Street Upgrade
As part of our efforts to improve local infrastructure, we are pushing for the upgrade of Arum Street to a more durable surface, with the ultimate goal of having it tarred. This will ensure better access, reduce dust, and improve overall road safety for residents.
Netball Court and
Multi-Purpose Field:
We plan to transform the current netball court into a hard-surfaced, multi-purpose field. This upgrade will provide a more durable and versatile space that can be used for various sports and recreational activities, benefiting the youth and promoting community engagement.
